Weekly Meal Plan
If you’re new here, you may want to get caught up on how I do meal planning.  If you are a die-hard reader bordering on stalker, then let’s just get right to it!

I love eating leftovers the next day because I save myself time by turning dinner cleanup into packing the next day’s lunches  into my awesome stainless steel lunchboxes and let’s face it, life is just plain easier when you only have to worry about providing a healthy breakfast & dinner! Real food can be easy! Let’s begin, shall we?

Some of these recipes are mine, some are from fellow bloggers.  Either way you’ve got some sweet recipes for your REAL FOOD lifestyle!

Sunday
Soaked Biscuits made into breakfast sandwiches with eggs, bacon & cheese.
Fresh garden salad & homemade mozzarella.
Slow cooker meatballs, brown rice(soaked for 12 hours before cooking) & creamed spinach.

  • After your meatballs are done, throw half of a raw chicken, carrots, celery & onion along with some water in the crockpot to simmer overnight for tomorrow dinner — an easy way to get broth & shredded chicken in one!

Monday

Homemade yogurt & granola with fruit.
LEFTOVERS from Sunday dinner.
Herb Chicken Tetrazini casserole
Tuesday
Scrambled eggs, whole-wheat toast with real butter, raw milk.
LEFTOVERS from Monday dinner.

Wednesday
Yogurt or Kefir Chocolate PB smoothie
LEFTOVERS from Tuesday dinner.
Baked sweet potatoes with butter. & fresh garden salad with olive oil & balsamic vinegar.

Thursday
Soaked Oatmeal & nuts with butter, maple syrup & raw milk.
LEFTOVERS from Wednesday dinner.
Fish & Chips (I plan on using white potatoes too.)

Friday
Omelets with fresh veggies and cheese.
LEFTOVERS from Thursday dinner.
Homemade Pizza Night — here’s a great dough recipe

Saturday
Fruit & veggie smoothies, peanut butter on toasted whole-wheat bread.
LEFTOVERS from Friday dinner.
Out-to-eat Night

Snack choices this week: Real Food Strawberry Treats
Desserts this week: Banana Pudding, Homemade Frozen Yogurt

ABOUT DANELLE

DaNelle started to take an interest in a healthier lifestyle after suffering from two debilitating chronic diseases. On a mission to create a farm of her own, DaNelle forced, or rather 'lovingly persuaded' her husband to purchase a ranch home on an acre of land and transform it into their very own urban farm. DaNelle blogs at Weed 'em & Reap where she writes about the sustainable backyard farming, traditional food, & natural remedies.

I’m on this same path of switching to traditional foods and loving all of the learning, reading and experimenting! Here’s a link for my favorite pizza dough that is soaked! Plus you get to make extra and freeze dough for later which makes it super easy to whip up a pizza at any time I LOVE IT! Oh and all of the recipes I have tried on her blog so far, 5, have been awesome!

Love so much what you are doing! It thrills me to see young moms taking this road. Teaching my children healthy eating and how to prepare their own meals has really paid off with my 5 kids. They are now all adults, love to cook and prepare meals at home every day (except when eating out on special occasions. Consequently they have always been healthy and the dinner table has always been a positive experience that we look forward to daily. Keep up the good example and the hard work. “No success can compensate for failure in the home” is such a true statement! Thanks!!!
