Who’s ready for school? WHOOP WHOOP!
Whether you school your children at home, send ’em down to a local neighborhood school, or live on an island in the middle of nowhere and life IS your school (jealous!), I’ve got the best back to school essential oil blends for ya’.
Essential oils are the oils distilled from plants, roots, herbs, leaves, & stems. The result is a highly-concentrated liquid that has some amazing properties. Essential oils can relieve occasional digestive discomfort, support overall respiratory health, soothe sore muscles & joints, and more! Much, much more!
Today we’re focusing on the best essential oils to have on hand when going back to school. When it comes to essential oils & kids, less is more. 1-2 drops are all you need to notice improvement!
Sending kids to school with essential oils
There are a few ways to send these back to school essential oil blends with your kids. You can either pre-make these blends and put them in roll-on bottles (you’ll have to multiply the recipes by 10 to fill up the bottles), or if you don’t think your kids will want to apply them at school (“SO embarrassing, Mom!!”), you can try a diffuser necklace or bracelet, or even try these essential oil sniffers.
While it’s great to apply these blends to your body, even just smelling them can have powerful effects. It’s called aromatherapy, and trust me, it works.
A word about some of the blends
You’ll notice I recommend two blends to go in, well, the blends. It’s like back to school essential oil blend Inception. Let me explain. There are some pre-made blends you can purchase that have a combo of the most effective oils. Purchasing these save you TIME & MONEY, which is awesome. The first blend in this image is the Protective Blend. The protective blend is a blend of the essential oils wild orange, clove, cinnamon, eucalyptus, and rosemary. The second blend listed is the Digestive blend. The digestive blend is a blend of the essential oils ginger, peppermint, tarragon, fennel, caraway, coriander, and anise. Instead of purchasing each of these essential oils separately, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND grabbing them pre-made.
