We are so happy in our new house! I love how quiet the street is and how I feel like I’m living in the country.  I can’t wait for it to get cooler so we can spend a little more time outside. I’m having a blast mowing the lawn, mostly because I love the riding lawn mower, I just think it’s fun to ride. I don’t even break a sweat because I get in my swimsuit and water myself down with the hose to stay cool. Everytime the grass catcher needs to be emptied I just call for Kevin to do it. He’s a great grass catcher emptier. Kevin says I’ll get sick of mowing the lawn soon enough but I don’t believe him. There are still so many little things left to get done around this house, and I’m proud to say I’ve compiled a very organized list…but that’s about it. All the puppies are sold and we even sold Frenchy, the mom. So back down to 2 dogs and 2 kids. Life is good.

{Hall Bathroom…ugh this needs so much work I can’t even think about it. The cabinets still have the Kilz paint on them}

Feeling Settled AND THIS… is the reason we got such a great deal! I honestly thought living by the train tracks would be too loud, but it’s not bad at all and definitely worth it. it doesn’t come by too much and the kids love it anyway.

ABOUT DANELLE

DaNelle started to take an interest in a healthier lifestyle after suffering from two debilitating chronic diseases. On a mission to create a farm of her own, DaNelle forced, or rather 'lovingly persuaded' her husband to purchase a ranch home on an acre of land and transform it into their very own urban farm. DaNelle blogs at Weed 'em & Reap where she writes about the sustainable backyard farming, traditional food, & natural remedies.
