Another SurgeryWell, here I go again…it seems I have another bulging disk. About six months after the last surgery, I started to have a little sciatic pain down my legs. Each time I would over exert myself, it would start to shoot down my leg. UGH! So I finally had another MRI and they found a small bulge (not nearly as bad as before) and on Monday I’m going to have surgery. The surgery is fairly simple, they will cut away part of the disk that is pressing on the nerve, I just hope this will last me longer. I am tired of being in pain, especially right now when it’s at its worst. I can barely walk so I’ve been watching a lot of movies.Another Surgery

I really need to have an artificial disk replacement, but I am trying to hold that off for as long as I can. My body is not cooperating very well! I’m trying to look on the bright side….HEY at least I get to wear a sexy back brace for a month! Dear Disk, please be good and stay where you’re supposed to stay!
Wish me luck!

ABOUT DANELLE

DaNelle started to take an interest in a healthier lifestyle after suffering from two debilitating chronic diseases. On a mission to create a farm of her own, DaNelle forced, or rather 'lovingly persuaded' her husband to purchase a ranch home on an acre of land and transform it into their very own urban farm. DaNelle blogs at Weed 'em & Reap where she writes about the sustainable backyard farming, traditional food, & natural remedies.

HEY THERE!

I'm DaNelle. I'm a city girl who convinced her husband to buy goats. Because, goats. Growing my own food has been an amazing experience, and this is the place I share it all with you! READ MORE…
